SEOUL, May 11 (Yonhap) – K-pop singer AleXa will attend at the “Billboard Music Awards” held in Las Vegas, the United States, on May 15(KST) as the winner of the “American Song Contest.”
Among K-pop artists, superband BTS has performed at the awards ceremony, which is considered one of the top three popular music awards in the U.S.
S. Korean singer PSY appeared as a presenter at the awards ceremony in 2013 after sweeping the world with his mega-hit song “Gangnam Style” the previous year while showing a dance battle with Tracy Morgan, but it was not an official stage.

AleXa became the final winner of NBC’s “American Song Contest,” which was aired throughout the United States on May 10, as a representative of the state of Oklahoma.
The singer will also star in "The Kelly Clarkson Show" on May 11 (U.S. Time).
