SEOUL, Jan. 14 (Yonhap) – K-pop boy group Seventeen’s Japanese single “Power of Love,” which was released last month, has received a platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of Japan(RIAJ) after selling over 250,000 copies, according to the agency Pledis Entertainment on Jan. 14.

The group received platinum certification for 3 albums in a row in Japan, following their eighth mini album “Your Choice” and ninth mini album “Attacca.”

Seventeen said, "We are thankful to CARAT (Seventeen’s fan club name) who always support us," adding, "We realized once again that we were loved so much over the year we’ve been running nonstop. Unfortunately, we couldn't share our happiness in person last year, but we will work harder and look forward to the day when we could be together someday.”

"Power of Love” is a song that contains a message of support and comforts saying that if there is power of love, warm spring will come even in difficult situations like cold winter.
