Return of Son Hye-gyo, 'Now We Are Breaking Up'

SEOUL, Nov. 25 (Yonhap) -- SBS Fridays-Saturdays series “Now, We Are Breaking Up” starring ‘Queen of Melo,’ actress Song Hye-gyo is gaining interest from the watchers.

The series ranked 2nd place for CPI (Contents Power Index) during the 2nd week of November, released by CJ ENM Thursday, scoring 294.8. It is 26 ranks higher than that of last week.

The CPI is an index showing watchers’ responses to various programs aired at prime period on 29 channels.

The series is a romance between Ha Young-eun (Song), manager of a design team in a fashion company and Yoon Jae-kook (Jang Ki-yong), a photographer who has both money and power.

Song is known for her confident and lovely, delicate and heart-touching melo acts since her previous works such as “Descendants of The Sun” (2016), “Full House” (2004), “All In” (2003), “Autumn in My Heart” (2000).

Also, her styles in the series, from fancy to simple clothes, bags and accessories, are issues as well.

Its viewer rate has been staying on 7~8% until the recent 4th episode since the 1st episode on the 12th.

Although lower than expected, the scores are better than that of the previous series such as “Lost” (1%) starring Jeon Do-yeon, “Inspector Koo” (1~2%) starring Lee Young-ae and “Reflection of You” (lesser than 2%) starring Ko Hyun-jung.
