SEOUL, Jan. 15 (Yonhap) – The music video of the K-pop girl group Girls’ Generation Tae-yeon’s new song “Can’t Control Myself will be screened in movie theaters.

The agency SM Entertainment said on Jan. 14, “Tae-yeon’s ‘Can’t Control Myself’ music video will be unveiled as a 30-second version of screen advertisement at 87 MEGABOX locations nationwide for about a month from Jan. 18.

The song is included in Tae-yeon’s third full album, which will be released next month.

“Can’t Control Myself,” which will be pre-released on Jan. 17, is a ballad song of the pop punk genre that stimulates emotions with strong sound. The lyrics depict craves for love that still longs for the other person's heart even though she has an intuition that it will be hurt.

Tae-yeon participated in writing lyrics and wrote the story of “dangerous love” that has lost control.

The agency expected, "The music video will draw attention of the audience as it contains movie-like scenes that show dramatic stories and dynamic directing."

Tae-yeon, who debuted as a main vocal of Girls’ Generation in 2007, has also performed as a solo artist and released hit songs, such as “I,” “Rain,” “Why,” “Fine,” and “Weekend.”
