SEOUL, May 11 (Yonhap) -- The 'Seowon Valley Green Concert,' an exclusive golf course charity music festival which has been paused due to COVID-19 for last two years, will be held again with K-pop boy group PENTAGON, AB6IX, and SUPER JUNIOR.

The Seowon Valley golf club (chairman Choi Deung-kyu) will hold Seowon Valley Green Concert at special stage in Seowon Valley golf club in Paju city, Gyeonggido province on the 28th.

The Seowon Valley Green Concert, started in 2000, is famous for raising huge charity funds by holding concert of Korea's top most musicians at stages utilizing golf course fairways and greens. A total charity funds raised through this concert is over 600 million won (US$ 469,630.56).

The concert has positioned as a popular music festival, with a total of 40 thousand people visiting, including three thousand K-pop fans from abroad every year.

Over the past 18 concerts, about 450 thousand people have visited the Seowon Valley Green Concert.

The Seowon Valley golf club is significantly contributing to the local economy of Paju city, increasing the sales of accommodations, restaurants, taxis, and gas stations at the city.

The Seowon Valley golf club will shut down on this day and use 9 halls for parking lot.

The lineup of musicians participating is fabulous, while they do not receive performance fee at all, in response to the purpose of the event to help the underprivileged.

In the festival, a total of 29 teams of musician will be on stage including PENTAGON, AB6IX, SUPER JUNIOR (LEETEUK and SHINDONG), VERIVERY, KINGDOM, TAN, YOUNITE, Weeekly, Billie, PIXY, CocaNButter, Kim Jae Hwan, Baek A-yeon, Jang Min-ho, Park Koon, Hwang Woo-lim, AUX, LA POEM, Baek Z Young, Park Mi-kyung, WAX, Kim Won-jun, Im Chang-jung, Kim Jo-han, Jung Dong-ha, Yurisangja, Park Hak-ki, Lee Bong-won. Lee Jong-hyun, the editor-in-chief of the Leisure News, and comedian Park Mi-sun, will be the MCs.

Prior to the concert, there will also be a long hitting competition, putt competition, approach competition, and a warehouse release shopping mall hosted by Callaway Golf during the day.

The admission is free of charge, and 100 million won worth of prizes such as TV, air tickets, and golf goods will be distributed as well.
