The Deogyusan National Park has announced that Korea's first snow has fallen on its peak, Hyangjeokbong (altitude of 1,614 meters) Tuesday morning. .

The snowfall was 3cm thick at 9 a.m.

As it is still snowing, the peak will soon be covered with white snow,

Deogyusan means "virtuous and rich mountain." A gondola is installed to the top so climbers can go up the mountain even in winter.

Over 20 meters of snowy-white ridges ripple like ocean waves to exert the beauty of pure white.
