SEOUL, Oct. 13 (Yonhap) -- Video of “2022 S/S Seoul Fashion Week,” which takes place from the 7th to 15th of October, has recorded about 8.4 million views in 3 days of release, Seoul City announced Wednesday.

This is the highest record, surpassing 4.72 million views of “2021 F/W” event in March this year, according to the City official.

Also, the event’s official TikTok account which started operation this year, has achieved 40 million views in 10 days with their challenge event from Oct. 2 in which participants share fashion videos.

This year’s event is a 100% pre-produced video show - a “digital fashion show.” The City officials are seeing that the video’s artistic beauty and level of completion featuring the 5 representative Korean palaces have attracted the world’s attention.

In addition, active using of social media channels such as TikTok and Instagram to appeal to the young generations is considered as one of the main factors of their popularity.

“The digital fashion show, Seoul Fashion Week will be a meaningful attempt to raise the world’s recognition of K-Fashion,” expects an official of Seoul City.
