SEOUL, Jan. 15 (Yonhap) – S. Korean singer and actor Rain(Jeong Ji-hoon) warned to take legal actions against the statement suggested on YouTube by saying it is “false information.”

The agency Sublime Artist Agency announced on Jan. 14, "We are aware that videos of false information about Rain are being distributed indiscriminately," adding, "We will take all possible legal actions against the YouTuber as well as those who redistribute them."

It also emphasized, "There will be no consultation or leniency for the results of all legal measures, including civil and criminal penalties.”

In April, a YouTube channel claimed that Rain tends to be stingy with spending money, saying, "Even though Rain has assets of around 80 billion won, he doesn't buy meals for his juniors."

When the video drew attention, another YouTuber with 350,000 subscribers mentioned in a video on Jan. 13, "When I asked the staff, it was true that Rain had this reputation.”

Rain, who is married to a famous actress Kim Tae-hee, is currently starring in tvN's Monday and Tuesday drama "Ghost Doctor."
