BTS visits 'KOREAN ACTORS 200' photo exhibition in New York

SEOUL, Sept. 23 (Yonhap) -- K-pop superband BTS visited the "KOREAN ACTORS 200" photo exhibition held at the Korean Cultural Center New York on Wednesday afternoon (EST).

The septet, who were appointed as a "special presidential envoy for future generations and culture" initially flew to New York to attend a United Nations event and later visited the exhibition with South Korean Culture Minister Hwang Hee.

The Korean Cultural Center New York also posted on Facebook writing, "OMG!!!! We got the BEST surprise EVER Korean Cultural Center New York from BTS!!," adding, "They checked out the gallery AND even signed their autographs for us - you can check their autographs at the Gallery Korea!"

The "KOREAN ACTORS 200" photo exhibition was hosted by the Korean Film Council as one of the promotional campaigns for Korean film actors. The exhibition, which is under the theme "The Actor is Present," displays 200 faces of both Korean actors and actresses shot by photographers Kim Jung-man and Ahn Seong-jin.
