BTS tops Billboard Global Chart for 32 consecutive weeks

SEOUL, May 11 (Yonhap) -- "My Universe," a collaboration song released by BTS with the band Cold Play has entered the top spot on the Billboard global chart for 32 weeks in a row.


According to the latest chart released by Billboard on the 10th (local time), the song ranked #36 on "Billboard Global Excl. U.S" while "Butter," which was released in May last year, also ranked the 31st.

In "Billboard Global 200," "Butter" was ranked the 51st while "My Universe" was ranked 62nd.

These two charts rank the top songs based on streaming and/or sales activity from more than 200 territories around the world.

Other than this, BTS' "Dynamite" ranked 65th in "Billboard Global 200" and 42nd in "Bill Board Global Excl. U.S." "Permission To Dance" ranked 186th and 93rd in both of the charts respectively.

Albums released by BTS in the past have also been consistently listed on Billboard's charts by country. 

The album "BE," released in November 2020, ranked 5th on the "World Album" and 55th on the "Top Current Album" respectively. "LOVE YOURSELF 承 Her," released in September 2017, ranked 6th on "World Album" and 56th on "Top Album Sales" respectively.

In addition, on the "World Album" chart, "LOVE YOURSELF 轉 Tear" ranked 7th, "MAP OF THE SOUL: 7" ranked 8th, and "MAP OF THE SOUL : PERSONA" ranked 9th, while "LOVE YOURSELF 結 Answer" ranked 12th.

On the other hand, Psy's "That That", a song in which member Suga participated in featuring and producing, recorded 80th on the Billboard main single chart "Hot 100," 1st on "World Digital Song Sales," and "Digital Song Sales." It ranked 2nd on "Billboard Global Excl. U.S", 4th on "Hot Canada Digital Song Sales," 5th on "Billboard Global 200," 16th on "Lyric Find Global" and 41st on "Canada Hot 100".
