SEOUL, Oct. 19 (Yonhap) -- Actor Kim Seon-ho, who rose to world-stardom playing Hong Du-sik in “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha,” is being suspected of having urged abortion to his ex-girlfriend.

“We are sincerely sorry for concerning you with such unfortunate affair. We are currently identifying the facts,” responded the actors’ agency Salt Entertainment Tuesday.

“We apologize for not being able to quickly announce an official statement. As the facts are not clearly identified yet, please wait a little longer,” added the agency.

An anonymous post titled “This reveals star actor K’s true face, a shameless hypocrite” claiming that actor K urged her to get an abortion was uploaded on an online community on the 17th.

The anonymous writer claimed that she was K’s ex-lover and informed the actor of her pregnancy in July last year. But she was told a lie that if she gave birth to the child, she would have to pay 900 million won of compensation and had to get rid of the infant, according to the post.

Also, the accuser said that before abortion, K promised to wed her after 2 years and when the surgery was done, he gave her 2 million won for medical fee. Then he dumped her 4 months ago.

Netizens narrowed down the accused to Kim based on the post’s details, but the agency did not respond at all until yesterday.

Kim is known to attend a press interview on the 20th about the finishing of “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha,” but there are words saying he may cancel the schedule.
