K-pop stars including Kang Daniel·CL to appear in Japan’s Summer Sonic Festival

SEOUL, May 21 (Yonhap) -- A large number of K-pop stars will appear in “SUMMER SONIC 2022,” the largest music festival in Japan.

According to the official website of Summer Sonic on May 21, K-pop singers, including Kang Daniel, Seori, Zico, CL, and K-pop boy group TOMORROW X TOGETHER, were named on the list among the participants of the event.

Summer Sonic will be held at Tokyo and Osaka, Japan, from Aug. 20 to 21 this year.

The festival will also star famous Japanese singers, such as HYDE and Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, as well as renowned North American and European artists, including Megan Thee Stallion, Carly Rae Jepsen, and Måneskin.

Kang Daniel's agency Konnect Entertainment said, "We are looking forward to Kang Daniel's performances in Japan, starting from “SUMMER SONIC 2022,” which is considered one of the world's most popular music festivals."
