EXO D.O.'s first solo album, topped on 59 nations' local iTunes

SEOUL, July 27 (Yonhap) – The first solo album of Boy band Exo’s main vocal D.O (real name Doh Kyung-soo) has swept the iTunes ‘Top Album’ charts from 59 countries placing its name on the top.


The artist’s album “Empathy” topped on 59 nations’ local 1st places on iTunes including the U.S., Canada, Australia, the United Arab Emirates since its release yesterday, announced D.O.’s management agency SM Entertainment on the 27th.

It also ranked 1st on Digital Album Sales Chart on China’s platforms such as QQ Music, KuGou, Kuwo.

“Empathy” is the artist’s first solo album in 9 years since debut featuring sentimental songs with acoustic atmosphere.

D.O. explained through SM yesterday, “I do really like the acoustic guitar sound and because the sounds felt so comfortable and relaxing to me that I decided to produce the songs with guitar melodies.”
