SEOUL, Jan. 22 (Yonhap) — Boy group BTS and the band Coldplay’s joint song “My Universe,” ranked No. 30 on Top 100, 1 step higher than last week.

The song succeeded in staying on the charts for 15 weeks in a row, according to the latest chart, Friday (the U.K. Time).

“My Universe” ranked its highest record by entering the UK Singles Chart at No. 3 since the release on Sep. 24, 2021. The song remained on the chart for 12 consecutive weeks by ranking No. 12, No. 15, No. 5, No. 7, No. 13, No. 12, No. 17, No. 19, No. 24, No. 86, and No. 92.

The song then stepped off the chart for 2 weeks and reappeared on No. 19 and No. 31 this month with the “belated success.”

"My Universe" is a song that drew attention in collaboration of BTS, who has the world's biggest fandom, and Coldplay, one of the most commercially successful bands.

The song also featured Korean lyrics written by BTS members themselves. The two groups first unveiled a joint stage to their fans around the world at the “American Music Awards of 2021,” which was held in November, 2021.
