SEOUL, June 21 (Yonhap) -- "Our members have the DNA of doing the 'mission'. The way we overcome things in any situation, that is us," said Changsun.

The group TAN, selected through the MBC survival audition program “Extreme Debut: Wild Idol,” will be returning on Tuesday.

This is a fast comeback since it has been 3 months since the debut album “1TAN” released in March left a strong impression. The new album, filled with the colors of the seven members, “2TAN,” is the beginning of “W series” that will be drawn in the future.

“We prepared a song different from ‘1TAN,’ but we’re happy with the song and the choreography. We’re confident about it,” said TAN, in the agency’s office located in Gangnam, Seoul. “I think we will be able to show a different side of us.”

The new album featured “wish” as the keyword to open the W series.

Changsun explained that this album contains the desire to achieve peace through music and said, "It dealt with global issues such as peace and the environment. Starting with this, the W series will continue."

It contains a total of 4 tracks, including the title song “Louder” with a magnificent chorus, “Adorable” and “My Heart.” Among them, BTOB’s Minhyuk participated in the lyrics of “Adorable.”

The members were so satisfied with their title song “Louder” that they danced along with it when they heard it for the first time.

"'Louder' is a song that has a memorable sound once you hear it,” Jooan said, laughing. “Excluding the individual scenes, 93% of the music video was a dance scene, so I will risk my life for the performance this time.”

"There is a scene where we dance in a taekwondo uniform. I think it will leave a fresh impression,” Hyunyeop said. "It's like a 'labor song' that you listen to on your way to work or school in the morning and make you feel like 'something is coming up'."

Tan members said that they wanted to go beyond the image of a “wild idol” through this activity.

It is because they wanted to engrave the name of “TAN” onto many people as much as they made the debut after overcoming the survival competition that combines an idol contest and survival. They also said that they wanted to earn the title of a “No.1 Singer.”

When asked how they felt after 100 days of debut, Sunghyuk expressed his gratitude to the members, saying, "We suffered a lot together, but our relationship grew even stronger and deeper."

"As much as we went through the 'Wild Idol' program, we will leave the heart of the ‘wild idol’ and pass it on to another team,” Changsun said. Meanwhile, Jiseong wished to become the “No.1 to be recruited.”

"After the team was formed, I participated in the 'MBC Gayo Daejejeon' awards ceremony. Thanks to the program, I was able to stand at a big awards ceremony, but now I want to go up to such awards ceremonies with our own strength," Hyunyeop said.

The members who were formed last year expressed their wish of meeting their fans in more places if given an opportunity.

“We went to Pohang to do busking, and we really got energy from meeting the fans who cheered for us,” Sunghyuk said brightly. “I felt like this (the excitement of meeting fans) is why we chose this job.”

Jaejoon is also uploading “cover” videos of the songs and dances of various singers to show different sides of him. “Recently I uploaded a cover of H.O.T and Sechs Kies, and it made me wish that we would once become a representative idol like them.”

They are also preparing to enter global markets including Japan and the United States.

"Our name means 'To All Nations', which means that we will go beyond Korea, to all over the world. We want to meet our fans in person and tell about ourselves to as many places as possible,” said Sunghyuk.
