SEOUL, Jan. 19 (Yonhap) -- Singer BamBam, who started his solo career, made a comeback with a second album.

The artist dropped the second mini-album “B” on Jan. 18 and held an online showcase.

It is BamBam's first comeback after 7 months since his first solo album “riBBon.” “With this album, I tried to express the most of my world, story, and my color,” explained the singer.

The album consists of 6 songs including the title song “Slow Mo,” “Who Are You,” “Subliminal,” and “Let me love you.”

"Slow mo" compares the finding of one’s identity as a singer to the appearance of a lover. Popular American singer-songwriter Pink Sweat$ participated in the composition.

"Who Are You,” featured by Red Velvet’s member Seulgi, was pre-released.

"If 'Who Are You' was about finding out and questioning the other-self, ‘Slow Mo,’ is the story about acknowledging it and creating our own world,” explained BamBam.

In particular, regarding the song "Who Are You," BamBam said, "It's a song that I really cherished," and emphasized, "Everything about Seulgi's dance and the song was perfect, and if it wasn't for her, I thought who else I could have done it with.”

BamBam also honestly shared his feelings as a Thai K-pop singer.

"At the beginning of my debut, I was afraid if I could do well, but Nichkhun (2PM) made a good path for me. It's not important that I'm from Thailand, but I hope that people who create and listen to good music can receive positive energy,” said the artist.

"I am grateful and honored that not only Korean but also international fans acknowledge me while working as a K-pop artist,” added the singer.

BamBam also mentioned the possibility of future GOT7's activities. After seven years, the group’s members have left JYP Entertainment and are pursuing different activities.

“Two days ago, it was GOT7’s 8th year anniversary so I got together with some of the members and we talked. I have some songs I wrote thinking about GOT7, so I shared them with the members,” mentioned BamBam.

BamBam agreed he was talking about GOT7’s future activities and added, “If I talk, I’m afraid the members will ask why I did it. (I can’t say when but) I know it’ll come out.”
