Suran with Wonstein to release 'Blanket', gives us a message of COVID-19

SEOUL, July 21 (Yonhap) -- Singer-songwriter Suran is releasing a new song conveying a message regarding the novel coronavirus infectinon (COVID-19) in collaboration with the rising rapper Wonstein. 


According to indie label S-TASY, Suran will drop her new digital single "Blanket" through music sites at 6 p.m. on the 21st. 

The new song, featured by Wonstein, delivers a positive and cheerful energy making the listeners picture having festival in their homes. 


"I intend to convey a positive message of 'though tangled up in blankets, let's make our dreams and fantasies come true' and a wish to go back to a better time of my life with some cheerful energy" explained Suran. 

This artist, who debuted in 2014 with the single "I Feel", has been recognized as a gifted vocalist and a singer-songwriter with her unique voice and widely loved by her songs such as "Calling in Love" (featured by rapper Beenzino), "Wine" (produced by Suga of BTS, featured by rapper Changmo). She is starting up as the founder of the independent label S-TASY which started business in the beginning of this year. 


Rapper Wonstein is also attracting attention with his peculiar voice. He recently has been selected as a member of MSG Wannabe, a project group by MBC TV's "Hang Out with Yoo" as his value soared up after appearing in Mnet's rap survival program "Show Me the Money 9" last year. 

He is also actively working by featuring for "I'm Gonna Love You", a side track in EXO D.O.'s first solo album which is to be released on the 26th.
