SEOUL, Nov. 25 (Yonhap) -- Kino, a member of K-pop boy group Pentagon, tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday.

Pentagon's agency Cube Entertainment said it took proper measures in accordance with the health authorities' guidelines after Kino was tested positive for the coronavirus.

Cube Entertainment further explained that when an instructor, who entered the company building the previous day, was confirmed to have contracted the virus, everyone who had been inside the building underwent a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test.

"The rest of Pentagon's members, including Jinho, Hong-seok, Shinwon, Yeo One, Yan An, Yuto, and Wooseok were tested negative, however we will decide whether they should continue their activities or not based on the health authorities' quarantine guidelines," Cube Entertainment said.
