Coldplay·BTS ‘My Universe’ climbs back up the charts… No. 58 on ‘HOT 100’

SEOUL, Jan. 12 (Yonhap) -- Boy group BTS and the band Coldplay’s joint song “My Universe,” succeeded in staying on the Billboard Main Single charts, Hot 100, for 15 weeks in a row.


“My Universe,” ranked No. 58 on Hot 100, 14 steps higher than last week, according to Billboard's latest chart, Wednesday (the U.S. Time).


"Hot 100," which is one of Billboard's major charts, ranks the most popular songs of the week in the United States by blending streaming, airplay, and sales data.


‘My Universe,” released on 24 September 2021, remains at the top of other Billboard charts.

The song climbed up the charts to No. 15 on the Digital Song Sales chart, No. 11 on the Adult Pop Airplay chart, and recorded No. 9 on the Canda Hot AC chart, No. 21 on the Canadian Digital Song Sales chart, No. 28 on Canadian Hot 100, and No. 34 on the Pop Airplay chart.

BTS entered the “Billboard Global 200,” which ranks songs based on streaming and sales activity in more than 200 territories around the world, and “Billboard Global Excl. U.S.” with four songs.

In the Billboard Global 200, “My Universe” was at 17th, “Butter” at 24th, “Dynamite” at 36th, and “Permission To Dance” at 87th.

On the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart, the four songs entered Top 60 with “My Universe” at 14th, “Butter” was at 17th, “Dynamite” at 25th, and “Permission To Dance” at 60th.

The superband is showing steady success on Billboard.

The 4th studio album “MAP OF THE SOUL: 7”, released in Feb. 2020, ranked 120th on the Billboard main album chart “Billboard 200,” 56 steps higher than last week, and stayed on the charts for 92 consecutive weeks.

The album ranked No. 28 on the Top Album Sales chart, higher than last week (No. 54).


Meanwhile, BTS member V’s "Christmas Tree,” an original soundtrack of SBS TV’s Monday-Tuesday drama “Our Beloved Summer,” ranked No. 5 on the “Hot Trending Songs Powered by Twitter.”


Jin’s “Yours,” an OST for the tvN drama “Jirisan,” recorded No. 8, and “Super Tuna,” a song revealed for his fans, ranked No. 12.
