SEOUL, June 17 (Yonhap) -- Starting this Saturday, an immersive digital content “Gilt-bronze Pensive Maitreya Bodhisattva” will be projected throughout the Millennium hall which is located in the middle of Terminal 1, according to the National Museum of Korea.

One will be able to enjoy the mystical but yet soothing smile of two “Gilt-bronze Pensive Maitreya Bodhisattvas” which can be found in “Room of Quiet Contemplation” at the National Museum of Korea through a 27 meter high 8k LED display.

“In order for people to feel the mystical nature of Bodhisattva in pensive position, we have digitalized to the finest bits of the statue to create as realistic content as possible.” Adding “henceforward, we will produce and showcase various contents related to cultural heritage,” said an official of the National Museum of Korea.
