SEOUL, Nov. 20 (Yonhap) -- In the past, it was important to collect coal briquettes or firewood before winter starts. Gimjang is still important as well. Army units on the front lines have to get ready for the winter in advance before getting stuck in snow. Mountain villagers gather firewood and scatter food for wild animals too. Also, we can see people sharing coal briquettes or gimjang gimchi for neighbors in need. Sandbags are installed on roads to prevent slipping accidents. Large markets jump into selling winter goods. Like this, winter is a season that requires a lot of preparation. Are you ready for winter? (Yonhap)
