SEOUL, May 4 (Yonhap) -- The citizens are going to Wiyangji pond, Bubuk-myeon, Miryang city, South Gyeongsang province, to enjoy the peak of spring on the 4th.

At this time in early may, the Fringe trees planted along the Wiyangji pond are in full bloom.

The citizens were seen taking pictures of the fringe flowers in full bloom that looks like as if the snow has fallen.

Sitting under the shades of the dense trees and looking at the fringe trees over the Wiyangji pond really allows one to wash off the exhaustion from their daily lives.

The Wiyangji pond is an agricultural pond built during the Silla Dynasty.

Every May, the pavilion in the middle of the pond and the flowers in full bloom makes it look as if the snow has fallen. This scenery of Wiyangji is so beautiful that it is even counted as one of the "Eight Views of Miryang."
