SEOUL, Nov. 23 (Yonhap) -- South Korean rock band Onewe will drop its new song "Star" at 6 p.m. on Tuesday.

"Star" is the title track of the band's second demo album "Studio We: Recording #2," which will be released on Dec. 7.

"The song carries a story of two people sharing their feelings about each other before heading to the stars," member Yong-hoon explained in a Q&A, released by RBW, ahead of the song's release.

"The first key point of 'Star' is the lyrics and the second is the drum rhythms," Onewe's drummer Harin said. "We tried to express some parts of the song like the universe and we wish listeners would pay close attention to them while enjoying the song."

"I'm always grateful for WEVE in believing in us," Kang Hyun said, mentioning their fan name WEVE. "I hope we can express our sincerity to WEVE through our songs."

"Studio We: Recording #2" contains the process of Onewe's songs becoming complete. This demo series includes original guide tracks that depicted a sketch of Onewe's song ideas as well.

"Since this album portrays the primary stages of producing a song, listeners will be able to take a look at Onewe's natural and sincere side," the band's agency RBW explained.

In January 2022, Onewe will be releasing its second mini-album.
