BLACKPINK’s ‘Lovesick Girls’ surpasses 300 million streams on Spotify!!

SEOUL, Jan. 17 (Yonhap) -- BLACKPINK's "Lovesick Girls,” the title track for its first full studio album, surpassed 300 million streams on Spotify, according to YG Entertainment, on Jan. 17.

This is the ninth song to exceed 300 million streams on Spotify, following “Kill This Love” (500 million), “How You Like That" (500 million), “DDU-DU DDU-DU” (400 million), “Ice Cream” (300 million), “AS IF IT’S YOUR LAST” (300 million), “BOOMBAYAH” (300 million), Jennie’s solo track “SOLO” (300 million), and Lisa’s solo track “MONEY” (300 million).

“Lovesick Girls” ranked No. 59 on Billboard’s Hot 100 during its release and topped the global YouTube songs chart for two consecutive weeks.

BLACKPINK produced a total of 20 songs that gained more than 100 million streams on Spotify. Other than the songs mentioned above, “PLAYING WITH FIRE” gained more than 200 million streams on Spotify following, “WHISTLE” (200 million), “Pretty Savage” (200 million), “Forever Young” (200 million), “Don’t Know What To Do” (100 million), “STAY” (100 million), “Bet You Wanna” (100 million), “Love To Hate Me” (100 million), ROSÉ’s solo tracks “On The Ground”, “Gone” (100 million), and Lisa’s solo track “LALISA” (100 million), according to YG Entertainment.
