SEOUL, Apr. 1 (Yonhap) – K-pop boy group TREASURE will embark on its first arena tour in Japan since the debut.

The agency YG Entertainment announced on Friday, “TREASURE will begin its Japan arena tour at the Hokkaido Prefectural Sports Center on Nov. 26, 2022.”

It is the group’s first concert in Japan since the COVID-19 outbreak.

The concerts will be held 17 times in a total of 6 cities, including Sundome Fukui, Aichi Nippongaishi Hall, Marine Messe Fukuoka, Hyogo Kobe Portisland Hall, and Saitama Super Arena. The schedules include the hometowns of the Japanese members of the group.

The agency explained, “The group will meet 155,000 audiences in this tour concert,” adding, “TREASURE will hold a concert with the largest scale among the K-pop artists who have visited Japan for the first time.”

TREASURE said, “We’ve always wanted to have a concert in Japan someday, and we’re so happy that our tour has been confirmed," adding, "We will work harder and show great performances for the fans that have waited for us."

TREASURE, which debuted in August, 2020, is a boy group that consists of a total of 12 Korean and Japanese members.

The group has continuously strengthened its fandom by releasing 4 albums in a series of “THE FIRST STEP,” and showed performances with the mini album “THE SECOND STEP : CHAPTER ONE” in February, 2022.

TREASURE will hold its first concert in Korea from Apr. 9 to 10.
