SEOUL, July 20 (Yonhap) -- With the spread of the novel coronavirus infection(COVID-19) keeping its steady pace, cases of confirmed infection from the entertainment scene are reported in series.

Singers from 'Mr. Trot' are continually reporting confirmed cases of diagnosis after having recorded TV Chosun 'Ppong School' with Park Tae-hwan and Mo Tae-bum who had earlier been tested positive for infection.

Cases of confirmed infection for Jang Min-ho and YoungTak were announced on the 16th and 19th, followed by Kim Hee-jae's on the 20th.

'Mr. Trot' top 6 singers all received tests for infection after the confirmation of Park Tae-hwan and Mo Tae-bum who appeared in 'Ppong School' last 13th.

Kim Hee-jae, like YoungTak, was in self-isolation after initially tested negative, but took a re-examination after showing symptoms the day before and the result came out as positive.

"We will strictly comply with the quarantine guidlines and will take all necessary actions until safety is fully secure" announced New Era Project, the management agency.

Former member of a 5 member-girl group EXID, actress Hani(real name Ahn Hee-yeon) was tested positive for COVID-19 on the 19th, according to the entertainment scene on the 20th.

Being selected as Hani's next work, there were voices of concern for the filming of JTBC drama 'Idol', though it is also said that the drama will not be in much trouble since it has not yet started shooting.

"Shooting schedules are canceled and staff who may have made contact with the actress in any form are undertaking examination", explained JTBC.

Yoon Jung-hee, an actress in Subline Artist Agency with Hani, was also diagnosed as positive.

Sublime Artist Agency said, "Yoon Jung-hee was taking regular tests for COVID-19 in advance in case of any unexpected problems and has been informed with positive result" and "is following the government's instructions."
