Four staff members from drama 'On the Verge of Insanity' diagnosed with COVID-19

CHANGWON, July 21 (Yonhap) -- The fourth confirmed case of coronavirus occurred among the production staff of the MBC drama "On the Verge of Insanity," which is currently being filmed in South Gyeongsang Province.

Changwon city announced that three staff members from "On the Verge of Insanity" were confirmed to have tested positive for the coronavirus on Wednesday.

The drama's filming process was supported by the South Gyeongsang Province.

Although the cast members and staff live in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province, the filming site was located in Haman county and accommodations for the production team and actors were set in Changwon.

Within the production site of "On the Verge of Insanity," a staff member caught the coronavirus on July 15.

Since then, the filming schedule has been postponed, and close contacts of the confirmed case have entered self-quarantine.

The three confirmed cases reported on Wednesday were found to have diagnosed with the virus during their self-quarantine.
