SEOUL, May 16 (Yonhap) -- The middle school bullying scandal surrounding the member Kim Ga-ram of LE SSERAFIM, which gained attention as HYBE’s first girl group, is intensifying.

A photo of a document titled “Notice of Results by the Committee for Countermeasures against School Violence” spread rapidly online, according to the music industry, Monday.

The document notified the measures taken in Articles 16 and 17 of the Act on the Prevention and Countermeasures of School Violence and stated the perpetrator as ‘Kim Ga-ram of Grade 1 (equivalent to 7th Grade), Class 3.’

The relevant provisions of the Act on the Prevention and Countermeasures of School Violence stipulate the protection of students affected by school violence and measures against the perpetrators, respectively.

The agency Source Music stated last month regarding Kim’s bullying rumor, “The accusations have been edited with malicious intent,” adding, “The member was a victim of malicious rumors and cyberbullying.”

In this situation, physical evidence that may prove the member’s past school violence has been presented in the online space.

However, when asked by reporters about the authenticity of the document photo, the agency Source Music only replied, "There has been no change in the existing position that the company has expressed."

The agency has maintained its position that Kim has nothing to do with the alleged school violence but has not mentioned whether the document was forged or the results of the school investigation.

Source Music added, “We began the legal action against the spread of rumors and the details will be covered through legal procedures.”
