SEOUL, Sept. 27 (Yonhap) -- Rapper B.I., the former leader of K-pop boy band iKON who has recently been convicted of illegal drug use, will interact with global fans through an online concert in the U.S.

B.I. will appear on "131 Live Presents," an online concert held by U.S. media company LiveXLive (LXL) on Oct. 3, according to the rapper's agency IOK Company on Monday.

"B.I plans to deliver messages that have not been delivered so far through this concert," IOK Company said.

The concert will also feature R&B singer Pink Sweats, Indonesian pop star Afgan, and Destiny Rogers, who has worked with B.I for "Got It Like That." Epic High, a South Korean hip hop group will also appear as a special guest.

The 25-year-old singer was recently sentenced to three years in prison, suspended for four years on Sept. 10 for violating the Narcotics Control Act.

After B.I's alleged drug abuse news broke, B.I left iKon and has been active since the beginning of this year by featuring in songs from other singers and releasing solo albums, but this is his first time on the concert stage.

In a recent interview with Bloomberg, the CEO of LXL said, "B.I is showing good results after the release of his full-length album," adding, "We are happy to work with B.I and want to give fans around the world an unforgettable experience."
