SEOUL, July 21 (Yonhap) -- Na Hoon-a's concert in BEXCO Busan, which has been raising controversial voices amid the spread of COVID-19, is eventually postponed to the 23rd~25th of next month.

Yes24, the booking site for the event, informed its users with with the postpone of the 23rd~25th "Na Hoon-a Again Tes Brother" Busan concert in BEXCO Busan to the 20th~22nd of next month without any change in place.

"In accordance with the announcement by the Central Disaster and Safety Counters Headquarters (CDSCHQ) regarding the banning of performances on temporary performance facilities in the non-capital areas until the 1st of next month, it seemed impossible to proceed with current schedules causing inevitable delay on the performance," the reservation office said.

On that day, the CDSCHQ announced banning of any performances using unregistered spaces until the 1st of the next month. Registered facilities include gyms, parks and convention centers.

Initially the guidelines for restricting performances outside registered performances only applied to the metropolitan areas under 4th level of social distancing, however were expanded to non-metropolitan areas as the spread of COVID-19 intensified.

As a result, Na Hoon-a's performance in BEXCO became impossible.

Na Hoon-a's Busan concert was originally planned to be held twice a day for 3 days, in total 6 days, with 4,000 people at a time. However, with up to 97 confirmed cases per day in Busan, a large concert as this scale has raised complaints among citizens.
