BTS' Suga participates in rapper Juice WRLD's upcoming posthumous album 'Fighting Demons'

SEOUL, Dec. 9 (Yonhap) -- Suga of K-pop superband BTS will participate in the posthumous album of famous American rapper Juice WRLD, who passed away in 2019.

According to Juice WRLD's official Twitter account on Thursday, Suga participated in the 16th track, titled "Girl of My Dreams," of Juice WRLD's new album Fighting Demons," which is scheduled to be released on Dec. 10.

In addition to Suga, famous pop artists like Justin Bieber and Eminem joined the album.

Juice WRLD, who was a rising star in the U.S. hip-hop industry, ranked No. 1 for the first time on Billboard's main albums chart with his second full-length album "Death Race for Love" in 2019.

In December 2019, however, the rapper passed away at a young age of 21 after having a heart attack at an airport in Chicago. The cause of Juice WRLD's death was confirmed to be drug overdose after performing an autopsy.

Suga, who has previously shown off his talented musical capabilities as a solo artist through his well-received mixtapes "Agust D" and "D-2" in 2016 and 2020. The 28-year-old artist also participated in songs for Korean singers like Heize, Suran, IU, and Epic High.
