SEOUL, May 4 (Yonhap) -- Rookie boy group ENHYPEN has topped Japan's Oricon Weekly Albums Chart with their second album.

According to the Oricon, ENHYPEN's "Border: Carnival" topped the Oricon weekly album chart from April 26th to May 2nd.

It is the first time that ENHYPEN, which debuted in November last year, has topped the chart. Earlier, their debut album, "Border: Day One," peaked at second place on the Oricon Weekly Albums Chart.

"Border: Carnival" sold 832,218 copies in Japan in the first week, far exceeding the debut album record (71,000 copies), their agency Belift Lab said.

In the first week since its release, "Border: Carnival" sold 384,699 copies (based on Hanteo Chart).

This is an increase of more than 100,000 copies compared to the previous one, and it is the best performance of the group that debuted last year.

ENHYPEN is a representative new boy group that stands out in global markets.

They made their debut in the audition program "I-LAND," a joint audition program between CJ ENM and HYBE, the agency that created BTS, with a solid global fandom.
