Yoon Suk-yeol, the presidential candidate of the main opposition People Power Party, burns incense at a memorial in the city of Cheonan, South Chungcheong Province, central South Korea, on Jan. 21, 2022, to pay tribute to Yu Gwan-sun, a Korean independence fighter against Japan's colonial rule of Korea in the early 20th century. Yu died in 1920 at age 17 while imprisoned for leading pro-independence rallies in the 1919 popular movement to protest for independence from Japan. (Yonhap)
