Releasing reserve goods ahead of Seol holiday

An agro-fishery market in Seoul bustles with people on Jan. 11, 2022. The government began the prior day to release its 16 major reserve products, including cabbages and meat, which are in high demand ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday, or Seol in Korean, to stabilize their prices. Seol, which falls on Feb. 1 this year, is one of the country's biggest traditional holidays. (Yonhap)
