Drying pollock

Alaska pollock are hung on a wooden frame to dry in Yongdae Village in Inje, about 165 kilometers northeast of Seoul, on Jan. 13, 2022. Dried pollack, called "hwangtae" in Korean, are a time-honored favorite food of Koreans and usually sold in March after months of drying in cold weather. (Yonhap)
